Website Kirola Sports

This is the first responsive website I've built as a student worker at mediaworqs. The website was developed for Kirola Sports, a FIFA licensed player agency founded by Stijn Haeldermans.

For this project Bob and I created a theme based on the Omega Framework. The framework combines the Omega theme with several useful modules, like the Delta module. This combination should allow easy configuration of a 12-column grid, but we encountered several restrictions that made some parts of the design overly complex.

Another thing I noticed, the framework adds a lot of stuff that we don't need. I know that it's normal you don't use every part of the framework, but in my opinion the extra burden on the site performance isn't worth it, for this site and probably also for future sites.

As a conclusion I don't think I would ever use the framework again, by choice. However the result is good and you can find some screenshots below.

The personal website of Gilbert Mathieu Nijs, economist & marketeer. Born in Southern-Germany, now living in Belgium. Speaks Dutch, German, English & French. Read his first book about stock markets at age 10. Founded several businesses. Currently working on another brand-new start-up. Advisor to several organizations & companies.

This is a another website build as a student worker for mediaworqs. This time I didn't use Drupal, since it is only a small static text and a simple contact page.

This is another project as a student worker for mediaworqs. Just like the previous projects we developed a Drupal website and a suitable design. This time the website was developed for JongLibertairen, the youth division of the Belgian political party "Lijst De Decker".

This is another project I did as a student worker for mediaworqs. We developed a Drupal website and created a suitable design for it.

I didn't make the design myself, but I did convert the PSD to XHTML and CSS. Further I created the needed views and content types and I adjusted some modules so they worked according to our needs. E.g. the image slider.
